Storytelling
In this role, I lead product strategy, creative direction, UX research, and cross‑functional design initiatives across sectors including law enforcement, education, and large‑scale venues. My work focuses on managing the design team, enhancing security, streamlining operations, and creating safer, more efficient experiences for communities nationwide.
With more than 15 years of experience across startups, global tech organizations, and high‑growth environments, I’ve built and scaled products from concept to launch, shaped design systems, and partnered closely with engineering and business leaders to drive measurable impact. My background spans end‑to‑end product design, design operations, and strategic leadership—rooted in a foundation of multidisciplinary work that includes print design, marketing collateral, and sales enablement materials that supported brand growth and go‑to‑market efforts.
I live in Denver, Colorado with my brilliant wife, talented daughter, and two unapologetically spoiled dogs. Outside of design, I’m drawn to the outdoors—trail running, cycling, snowboarding, and mountaineering fuel my sense of adventure and balance.

Augmented Reality
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. AR can be used to overlay information on top of the real world, such as directions, labels, or 3D models. It's used in gaming, education, and training, and has potential for other industries.
Cleantech
Cleantech is a term used to describe technologies that are designed to protect the environment or reduce our impact on it. It includes renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable transportation. Greentech is a subset of cleantech that is specifically focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions using technologies such as carbon capture and storage.
Climatetech
Climatetech is a term that refers to technologies that are explicitly focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, or addressing the impacts of global warming. It includes a wide range of technologies, such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, and carbon capture and storage. As the technology continues, we can expect to see even more effective solutions.
Generative AI
GenAI is a type of artificial intelligence that can create new content, such as text, images, or music. It does this by learning the patterns and structures of existing data and then using that knowledge to generate new data that is similar to the original. Generative AI has the ability to revolutionize the way we create and consume content.
GovTech
Govtech is a type of technology designed to improve how governments operate and deliver services to citizens. It does this by applying digital tools, data-driven systems, and innovative platforms to streamline processes, increase transparency, and enhance public engagement. Govtech has the ability to transform the way governments function, making them more efficient, responsive, and accessible to the people they serve.
Healthtech
Healthtech is a broad term that refers to the use of technology to improve healthcare. It includes a wide range of technologies, such as wearables, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence. Wearable devices are a type of healthtech that can be worn on the body to collect data about health, such as heart rate, sleep, and activity levels.
Invisible UI
Invisible UI is a user interface that is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. It does this by using natural language processing, gesture recognition, and other technologies to anticipate the user's needs and make the interface invisible to them. As the technology continues to grow, we can expect to see even more innovative and creative uses.
InsurTech
InsurTech is a type of technology that aims to modernize and improve the insurance industry. It does this by using digital platforms, data analytics, and automation to streamline processes, personalize policies, and enhance customer experiences. InsurTech has the ability to reshape how insurance is bought, sold, and managed, making it more efficient, transparent, and accessible for both providers and policyholders.
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
Psychedelic therapy is a type of psychotherapy that uses psychedelic drugs to help people with mental health conditions. The therapy is typically conducted in a clinical setting with a therapist who is trained in psychedelic-assisted therapy. The therapist then helps the patient process their psychedelic experiences.
Spatial UI/UX
Spatial UI/UX is a type of user interface that uses spatial cues, such as depth, proximity, and orientation, to create a more immersive and engaging user experience. It is often used in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) applications, but it can also be used in traditional user interfaces.
